Persian Tea is a blend of aromatic black tea & bergamot oil, mixed with freshly crushed green cardamom pods.
This tea is hand-crafted in small batches. Persian culture is deeply steeped in this tea, and it truly is marvelous!
It is traditionally drank in clear teacups so that you can assess the deep color of the tea. It can be served black or sweetened.
Tasting Notes: Bold & bright bergamot tones like an Earl Grey, balanced by the earthy sweetness of cardamom, with a smooth lingering finish.
This is sold in a 4 oz tin of loose leaf tea
➻ Brew 1-2 Tablespoons of tea in 2 cups of freshly boiled water
➻ Let steep for 4-6 minutes
➻ Sweeten to taste, or serve black.
If you brew a pot of tea that is too strong, you can dilute it with freshly boiled water to your liking. It won’t negatively affect the taste of the tea.
